Staff AccountantAn Addison Group client is looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join their growing Accounting & Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their professional development working hands-on with senior leadership with an organization that has a proven roadmap for career growth.ResponsibilitiesSupport the preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports.Prepare and post journal entries, maintaining accuracy across general ledger accounts.Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and other general ledger items.Manage the processing of daily cash receipts.Analyze financial data and develop supporting schedules and account reconciliations.Contribute to cost reporting and broader financial analysis efforts.Gather and organize documentation to support internal and external audits.Uphold compliance with company accounting policies and internal control standards.Contribute to special projects and drive process improvement initiatives.Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting-related inquiries.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting required.1-3 years of accounting experience preferred; recent graduates with strong internship experience are encouraged to apply.Solid grasp of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.Keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines.A positive, collaborative, team-oriented mindset.Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
