Merrimack County Nursing Home works hard to offer a warm, caring, home-like environment. We treat everyone like family here at MCNH, from our residents to our employees. We thoroughly enjoy being a part of the Long Term Care community. Our mission here is clear; we "Promote Excellence" at Merrimack County Nursing Home. Our Nurses are expected to provide direct nursing care to the residents, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by Licensed Nursing Assistants. Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern the Merrimack County Nursing Home, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing Services or Unit Coordinator to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
Required Education & Experience
EDUCATION: Completion of a four year high school course or equivalent, and graduation from a basic educational program in practical (vocational) nursing with diploma. EXPERIENCE: One year of experience as a staff nurse preferred. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION : Current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse issued by the NH Board of Nursing.
