Project ManagerWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead high-end residential construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. This person will be responsible for driving schedules, budgets, communication, subcontractor coordination, and on-site execution while maintaining the level of quality and client service expected on luxury custom homes. The right candidate is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in an owner-facing role across multiple custom residential projects in the Birmingham, Bloomfield, and broader Metro Detroit market.Key ResponsibilitiesManage custom residential construction projects from kickoff through final completionBuild and maintain project schedules, milestone plans, and short-term look-ahead timelinesCoordinate subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, inspectors, and internal team membersMonitor budgets, job costs, change orders, allowances, and overall financial performanceLead communication with homeowners, architects, designers, and trade partners throughout the life of the projectEnsure job sites are running efficiently, safely, and to company quality standardsReview drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and field conditions to identify issues before they become delays or cost overrunsSolve field problems quickly and keep projects moving with urgency and professionalismTrack material procurement, long-lead items, delivery timing, and installation sequencingConduct regular site walks, quality-control reviews, punch-list management, and closeout coordinationMaintain accurate documentation including schedules, meeting notes, selections, approvals, and change-order recordsPartner closely with leadership to keep clients informed and protect the overall project experienceQualifications5+ years of project management experience in residential constructionStrong preference for luxury custom home experienceProven ability to manage multiple active projects, schedules, budgets, and trade relationships at onceExperience working directly with homeowners, architects, and design professionalsStrong understanding of construction sequencing, site logistics, quality control, and residential field operationsAbility to read plans, specifications, and finish details with a sharp eye for accuracyStrong communication skills, follow-through, and professional presenceAbility to solve problems quickly, stay ahead of issues, and hold trades accountableProficiency with project management, scheduling, and construction documentation toolsValid driver's license and ability to travel to local Metro Detroit job sites as neededPreferred BackgroundLuxury custom residential construction experience in Birmingham, Bloomfield Hills, Bloomfield Township, or comparable Metro Detroit submarketsBackground with ground-up custom homes, major additions, and complex renovationsExperience in a client-facing environment where service, communication, and craftsmanship all matterWhat Success Looks LikeProjects stay on schedule and within budgetClients feel informed, supported, and confident throughout the buildSubcontractors are coordinated well and held to a high standardField issues are solved early before they impact quality or deadlinesFinished homes reflect the company's reputation for craftsmanship and professionalismCompensationCompetitive Base SalaryHealth, Dental, Vision, Disability, Life Insurances401k with Match
