Position : Scientist 1,Analytical Chemist Location : Vernon Hills, IL Duration : 12 Months Total Hours/week : 40.00 1st Shift Client : Medical Devices Company Job Category : Clinical Level of Experience : Entry Level Employment Type : Contract on W2 (Need US Citizens or GC Holders or GC EAD or OPT or EAD or CPT) Note Pay rate $35.79/hr Working Hours: Monday-Saturday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Job Summary Provides analytical chemistry support and/or remediation for chemistry-related projects related to Client products currently on the market, as well as new product development. Participates in stability testing programs supporting approval of process/product design changes and supports development/validation of analytical methodologies for incoming raw materials, in-process, and finished product release testing. Roles & Responsibilities Perform chemistry and performance testing Conduct data review and entry Generate protocols and reports Provide laboratory maintenance and support Support stability testing programs for process/product design change approvals Develop and validate analytical methodologies for raw materials, in-process, and finished product release testing Discuss scientific strategies/results and interact with other functional areas (Regulatory, Manufacturing, Quality) Experience 2-4 years of experience in pharmaceutical analytical chemistry (essential) Hands-on experience with wet-chemistry and instrumental techniques (pH, titration, UV-Vis, GC, HPLC) Experience working within an FDA-regulated environment and GMP documentation requirements Previous experience writing scientific protocols and reports Key Skills Standard scientific method and techniques within respective discipline Excellent scientific writing skills Multi-tasking across various activities Troubleshooting and problem-solving Interpreting instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form Eligibility & Qualifications BS/MS in Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, or related science field required Ability to interact cross-functionally with Regulatory, Manufacturing, and Quality teams #J-18808-Ljbffr MillenniumSoft Inc
