Chemist II

We are seeking an experienced Chemist II to perform laboratory research and analytical testing in a regulated environment. The position will focus on executing laboratory experiments, generating precise and reproducible data, operating analytical instrumentation, interpreting results, and maintaining compliant laboratory documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute assigned laboratory tasks using standard procedures and technical knowledge of analytical techniques.
• Independently generate precise, reliable, and reproducible experimental data within established timelines.
• Document laboratory experimentation in accordance with applicable regulatory and quality requirements.
• Demonstrate experimental precision, strong data interpretation skills, and understanding of core chemistry principles.
• Develop protocols for complex tests or experiments involving less-defined assays and parameters.
• Ensure safety and GxP requirements are followed while performing laboratory activities.
• Deliver high-quality, precise data in a timely and GxP-compliant manner.
• Utilize word processing, spreadsheets, and instrument-related computer systems.
• Present experimental findings and scientific results to larger audiences.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Medical Technology, Biology, or a related field with a minimum of five years of laboratory experience, or a Master's degree with a minimum of two years of laboratory experience.
• Strong background in chemistry fundamentals and demonstrated laboratory research experience.
• Experienced use of analytical instrumentation including HPLC, Gas Chromatography, LC/MS, UV/VIS, MS, ICP, and related laboratory techniques.
• Experience with chromatography data systems such as Empower, OpenLab, or Chromeleon.
• Familiarity with GMP, GLP, and working within a regulated laboratory environment.
• Strong documentation and data interpretation skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present experimental findings to larger groups.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Laboratory experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience preparing or delivering scientific research presentations.
• Research publications or demonstrated experience presenting findings to scientific organizations.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Occasional weekend work may be required.
• Position is 100% onsite.

Pay Range: $30/hr to $35/hr
