This position contributes to the success of the organization by providing assistance to the Controller in budget and variance analysis, forecasts, manufacturing cost accounting analysis and obsolete inventory analysis.**JOB DESCRIPTION:*** Prepare monthly account reconciliations* Assist controller with month-end process checklist* Assist controller with yearend audits* Maintain orders that qualify as Percentage of Completion* Assist shared services to maintain vouchers payable report* Reconcile customer deposits weekly* Monitor negative inventory balances and determine proper transaction to correct* Monitor inventory in “non-nettable” employee location to ensure accuracy* Assist inventory cycle count process to help identify root causes of inventory inaccuracies* Maintain sales tax exemption certificates in Avalara’s CertCapture software* Manage timing of paying vendor invoices so that they are not paid before payments are received from customers* Cost Accounting - reviewing production costing results to ensure proper accounting of quantities and costs; inventory, labor and variance analysis. Develop and prepare cost reports for review by management. **JOB REQUIREMENTS*** Bachelor’s degree preferred in an Accounting/Finance discipline* 3-4 years’ experience accounting or related experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment* Proficiency in MS Excel (including Vlookups, Pivot Tables, Formulas)* Experience with ERP system in a manufacturing environment, Syteline experience a plus* Strong team player and ability to handle a multi-tasked role* Strong sense of integrity and ability to handle confidential information* Good verbal and written communications skills **What’s in it for you?** There's no monopoly on innovative ideas or limits to how far you can advance with our team.
