A day in the life.

As our Associate Vice President on the Commercial Entertainment team, you’ll be responsible for the following:

The primary function of this position is to provide the highest quality service to customers, sell new lines of coverage, cross sell within the existing book of business, and manage a team. The role is the main point of contact between the insurance company (Marsh Agency) and clients (Business Managers and/or high net worth individuals) and will provide daily guidance and oversight to the team of support staff responsible for processing transactions of an assigned book of business.

Must have extensive experience in their field to include constant expansion of knowledge about new products and services available to suit the needs of each client. An insurance designation or related classes will be required or may be substituted with at least 15-20 years of work experience in insurance.

As Associate Vice President, greater accountability to develop support staff; evaluate the effectiveness of work output and workflows of their teams; ensure company policies and SOG’s are followed as designed; and to develop and track annual business goals to increase sales and maximum retention of book value.

These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:

• College Degree preferred (high school diploma is required)
• Current California Department of Insurance License
• 15 plus years of experience
• Proficient MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Work environment & physical demands.

• Ability to use computer keyboard and sit in a stationary position for extended periods as well as use office machinery such as fax and copy machines, and telephones.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $104,000 to 166,000. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $64,700 to $120,400.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
