Overview
Registered Nurse – L&D travel assignment in Clearlake, CA. Start 08/24/2026 for 9 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,389-$2,565 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts (3x12). Setting: Women’s Care Unit, an inpatient unit providing care across the lifespan from obstetric to geriatric, including infants up to 28 days old.

Responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based nursing care for women across the lifespan, from childbearing through geriatrics, and care for neonates up to 28 days old within the WCU.
- Coordinate and supervise patient care with multidisciplinary team members and other disciplines.
- Accurately assess, plan, implement, and document care; develop age-appropriate plans of care and prioritize nursing actions.
- Administer medications and IV fluids per policy; manage narcotics and ensure safe medication administration.
- Monitor patient status, respond to emergencies promptly, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and physicians.
- Educate patients and families; participate in discharge planning and timely handoffs to receiving teams.

Requirements
- Active RN license to practice in California.
- Experience in obstetric/women’s health or related inpatient care; ability to care for diverse age groups (infant to geriatric).
- Ability to work nights and 12-hour shifts (3x12).
- Comfortable delivering care in a Women’s Care Unit environment and documenting interactions accurately.
- Eligible for a 9-week travel assignment and able to work in an inpatient care setting.
