As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Experience Required in Santa Clara, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and/or employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility interior, exterior, perimeter, access points, parking areas, and critical infrastructure areas, reporting unusual conditions or hazards.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems; document observations and escalate concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and/or emergency responders as appropriate.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation while maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
