Contract | Full-Time | Nights | Every Other Weekend | Onsite | 36 Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 32-bed Orthopedic/Neurological Medical-Surgical unit serving scheduled elective orthopedic and neuro/surgical patients, fracture patients, and general medical overflow
• Perform neurological assessments and continuous telemetry monitoring, including interpretation of telemetry strips
• Maintain a patient assignment of 1:5–6 on night shift, delivering safe and effective nursing care throughout the shift
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using EPIC EMR
• Float to applicable units as requested based on census and staffing needs

Required Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a single Med/Surg or Telemetry setting
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a travel nurse
• Demonstrated ability to interpret telemetry strips
• Med/Surg RN background with neurological assessment competency and telemetry skills
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Prior experience with EPIC electronic medical records system
• Experience caring for orthopedic and neurological patient populations
