Overview Registered Nurse - Med Surg Tele, Massena, New York, United States. Travel assignment starting 04/20/2026 for several weeks. Weekly pay range: $1,914 to $2,012. No guaranteed hours. Shift: Nights, 3x12. Unit: Medical/Surgical Telemetry in a Critical Access Hospital setting. This role supports adult and geriatric patients with telemetry needs, requiring strong clinical skills and the ability to float as needed. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,914–$2,012 per week Orientation: 12 hours Shift: Nights, 3x12 Duration: several weeks Start date: 04/20/2026 Setting: Medical/Surgical Telemetry in a Critical Access Hospital Responsibilities Deliver direct, evidence-based nursing care for adults and geriatrics on a MS/Tele unit, including monitoring telemetry and responding to dysrhythmias Administer medications, manage IV therapy, blood products, and peripheral/central line care as indicated Perform phlebotomy, wound care (including Wound VAC), CBI, and basic wound management Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (PT, Respiratory, Pharmacy, Radiology) and participate in Rapid Response/Code events as needed Document accurately in Epic; ensure charting supports patient status, treatments, and discharge planning Requirements Active New York RN license in hand to submit BLS and ACLS certifications Minimum 2 years of RN experience; travel experience required Telemetry/Medical-Surgical Tele Unit experience for adults and geriatrics Epic electronic medical record experience required Willingness to float to related units as assigned Travel distance requirement: candidates located more than 50 miles from the facility Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated support throughout the assignment Pre-start orientation: 12 hours Travel-focused assignment with ongoing placement opportunities Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
