Job Description
Registered Nurse – MS/Tele responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit caring for adult and geriatric patients. The RN will manage patients with COPD, pneumonia, cellulitis, chest pain rule-out, abdominal pain, neurological conditions, and respiratory illnesses while ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes in a fast-paced acute care environment.

The role requires strong telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia management, respiratory care, IV therapy, and emergency response skills. The RN must collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and provide high-quality patient-centered care while managing varying patient acuity levels.

Mandatory Skills / Experience
Minimum 2 years of MS/Tele RN experience required
Travel experience REQUIRED
MS/Tele experience REQUIRED
Epic charting experience REQUIRED
Experience interpreting and managing dysrhythmias required
Telemetry monitoring experience preferred
Experience with Rapid Response/Code teams required
Experience administering blood products required
Experience with central line care/management required
Experience with PICC line management required
Experience starting and maintaining IVs required
Peripheral line care/management experience required
Phlebotomy experience preferred
Experience with CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident) patients required
Experience with seizure disorders required
Experience with substance withdrawal patients required
Experience with BiPAP/CPAP management required
Experience with High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) required
Experience with oxygen administration and non-invasive airway management required
Experience with isolation precautions/PPE required
Community hospital experience preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced acute care environment
