Position Overview Green Source FL is seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Receptionist / Patient Care Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for patients visiting our medical cannabis clinic. This role is essential in creating a welcoming experience while ensuring efficient front-office operations, appointment scheduling, patient intake, and administrative support. The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Receptionists in medical cannabis settings typically handle patient check-ins, scheduling, phone support, records management, and patient education regarding clinic processes. (Organic Remedies) Key Responsibilities
- Welcome patients, caregivers, and visitors with professionalism and exceptional customer service.
- Answer incoming phone calls, emails, and text inquiries promptly and courteously.
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments.
- Assist patients with registration forms, intake paperwork, and clinic procedures.
- Verify patient information and maintain accurate electronic records.
- Collect payments and process transactions accurately.
- Educate patients on appointment requirements, state registration processes, and clinic services.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
- Manage daily appointment flow and communicate effectively with providers regarding patient arrivals and scheduling changes.
- Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Scan, upload, and maintain digital patient documentation.
- Assist with marketing initiatives, patient outreach, and follow-up communications as needed.
- Support office operations through data entry, filing, inventory monitoring, and administrative projects.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support clinic success.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous receptionist, customer service, medical office, or administrative experience preferred.
- Experience in healthcare, wellness, or cannabis-related industries is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with computers, scheduling software, Microsoft Office, and electronic medical record systems.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Experience handling high-volume phone systems.
- Knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality practices.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to explain processes clearly and assist patients with varying levels of technical knowledge.

- Appointments are scheduled accurately and efficiently.
