RN ED Seasonal Day

We are hiring a Registered Nurse for seasonal emergency department assignments at Baylor University Medical Center (BUMC). The contract is 13 weeks (excluding a Monday‑Friday orientation week), offering a seasonal rate of $51/hr, a $1,500 completion bonus, and a pathway to full‑time employment. Emergency Department Opportunities Level I Trauma Magnet Facility – highest level of practice in ER. Patient ratios: 4:1. Number of beds: 80. Open status: PRN Seasonal 13 weeks. Open shifts: 7 am–7 pm (Day). Key Responsibilities Provide high‑acuity patient care in a fast‑paced emergency department setting. Participate in continuous learning, mentoring, and team development initiatives. Adhere to RN scope of practice and operational protocols within the ED. Support patient safety and deliver evidence‑based nursing care. Registered Nurse Requirements Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Active RN license with at least 1 year of ED experience. BLS certification required within 30 days of hire. Seasonal Commitment Information
- 13‑week assignment, excluding orientation week. The first week is Monday‑Friday orientation. Weekend requirements match regular full‑time shifts.
- Seasonal hourly rate: $51/hr.
- Completion bonus: $1,500 for meeting minimum productive time.
