Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (Seasonal 13‑week assignment) Join Baylor University Medical Center (BUMC), part of Baylor Scott & White Health, as a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department. This seasonal, 13‑week assignment offers competitive pay, a completion bonus, and the potential to transition into a permanent role. Compensation & Schedule Rate: $51 per hour Weekly completion bonus: $1,500 upon meeting minimum productive hours Shift: 7:00 pm – 7:00 am (Night). Weekend shifts run on the same schedule. Seasonal contract: 13 weeks, excluding the first week of orientation. Orientation: Monday – Friday of week 1. Responsibilities Provide acute‑care nursing for high‑acuity patients in a Level I Trauma Magnet facility. Maintain patient‑to‑nurse ratio of 4:1. Deliver care to an average of 80 beds on the ED units. Adhere to all facility protocols, patient safety, and quality standards. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Valid RN license with at least one year of ED experience. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
