Lead Financial Business Analyst

In the role of Lead Financial Business Analyst, you will report to the Director of Royalties In this role, you will lead the intersection of Finance and Data by driving high-impact initiatives that improve financial data quality, governance, and reporting You will partner with Finance, Accounting, and Data Engineering teams to design scalable data solutions aligned with IFRS standards and SOX compliance requirements This role plays a critical part in enabling accurate financial insights and strengthening internal controls through robust data governance frameworks Success will be measured by improvements in data integrity, audit readiness, and the effectiveness of finance data platforms Maintain data integrity between contracts, royalty statements, and content accounting systems. Ensure finance data structures and processes align with IFRS requirements and support accurate, timely financial reporting Design, document, and evaluate SOX controls related to financial data flows; support control testing and remediation efforts Partner with data engineering and systems teams to design scalable finance data models, pipelines, and integrations Act as a trusted advisor to Finance, Accounting, and Technology leaders, translating business needs into data and system requirements The Finance team is responsible for modernizing Crunchyroll’s financial systems and data capabilities. The team partners closely with Accounting, FP&A, and Engineering to build scalable, compliant, and insight-driven finance solutions. You have worked closely with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, or similar)You possess deep knowledge of data governance principles, including data quality management, metadata, and stewardship frameworksYou have experience translating complex finance requirements into data models, business rules, and system specificationsYou have hands‑on experience with IFRS reporting standards and their impact on financial data structuresYou have experience designing, operating, and testing SOX controls, particularly in relation to financial systems and data processesYou have 8+ years of experience in Finance, Finance Transformation, or Business Analysis with a strong focus on financial data #J-18808-Ljbffr Crunchyroll
