Staff Accountant

Primary Responsibilities Reconcile, adjust, and maintain balance sheet accounts. Prepare monthly recurring journal entries. Assist with month‑end close and ad‑hoc requests. Research and troubleshoot accounting issues. Bring discrepancies to the appropriate leader while suggesting potential solutions. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, XLOOKUPs, and keyboard shortcuts. Effective written and verbal communication to interact with various levels of colleagues. Excellent organizational skills. Demonstrated professional skepticism. Exhibit the firm’s core values and culture‑aligned behavior. Education & Experience Four‑year degree in Accounting required. 1–2 years in corporate accounting or auditing required, or relevant internship(s) if a recent graduate. Working knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). CPA track is a plus, but not required. Other Requirements Fast‑paced, multi‑tasking environment. Must interact effectively with various levels of management both inside and outside the organization.
