Territory Sales Manager - Specialty Construction Materials

Location: Albany, NY Compensation: $100,000 base salary + commission (OTE $175k+) About The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Territory Sales Manager / Outside Salesperson / Area Manager to represent a specialty construction materials organization across Upstate New York, Western Massachusetts, Western Connecticut, and the Mohawk Valley. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building long-term relationships with contractors, developers, engineers, and project stakeholders while developing business across an established regional territory. Territory Sales Manager Responsibilities Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, builders, developers, engineers, and project decision-makers throughout the territory. Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and territory development. Provide product knowledge, technical support, and recommendations to customers. Conduct jobsite visits, customer meetings, and presentations as needed. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction. Prepare quotes, proposals, and pricing for customers and projects. Track sales activity and support continued territory growth. Qualifications 3+ years of outside sales or territory management experience preferred. Experience in construction materials, building products, or contractor‑facing sales strongly preferred. Strong relationship‑building and communication skills. Self‑motivated with the ability to manage a regional territory independently. Willingness to travel throughout Upstate NY, Western MA, and Western CT. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required. Compensation Base salary around $100,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. Additional compensation opportunities available.
