Accounting Manager

This position will be onsite in Sherman Oaks 4-5 days/week. Only Southern CA based candidates will be considered. RESPONSIBILITIES Manage and supervise accounting activities, including revenue/accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, inventory, and general ledger accounting Prepare and record journal entries Manage the monthly financial close, ensuring compliance with US GAAP Review all account reconciliations including variance analysis Prepare month-end financial statements Review and reconcile sales & use tax Review inventory transactions and reconciliations as needed Direct intercompany activity ensuring transactions are properly recorded and reconciled Responsible for fixed asset accounting and subledger reconciliations Assist as needed with annual external audit Assist as needed with preparation of monthly financial statements Assist with implementation of internal controls, documentation of accounting procedures, and any enhancement to monthly reporting Provide leadership, direction, and mentorship to the accounting team Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance Strong understanding of US GAAP 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with 2 or more years in a supervisory role Inventory experience is a plus Advanced Excel skills and experience using ERP system (Microsoft Navision is a plus) Hands-on, flexible, and able to adapt to changes quickly Able to work both collaboratively across teams and independently Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement Ability to meet firm deadlines ColourPop offers a competitive benefits package including vacation time, health benefits, 401k + 100% match, paid holidays, product discounts and more.
