A rewarding contract opportunity awaits for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a supportive K-12 school environment near Syracuse, NY. Focusing primarily on elementary students—with some high school involvement—you’ll manage a caseload of approximately 28 students for the 2025–2026 school year (September to June). Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough speech and language assessments and craft individualized therapy plans
• Deliver direct, evidence-based therapy that addresses each student’s unique needs
• Work with teachers and school staff to integrate accommodations and modifications into the classroom
• Track student progress, document outcomes, and modify interventions as necessary
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to set meaningful goals
• Provide ongoing support and resources to parents and caregivers

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current state license as an SLP, or eligibility to secure licensure
• Preferably experienced in educational settings or with school-aged children
• Excellent rapport-building, communication, and collaborative skills
• Familiarity with IEP processes and special education practices
