Facilities Management and Reliability Lead

AstraZeneca seeks a Facilities Management and Reliability Lead in Puerto Rico to oversee safe, compliant operation of site utility and environmental systems. The role combines direct management of utilities personnel with strategic responsibility for reliability programs, asset lifecycle management, and cross-functional coordination to ensure manufacturing continuity.

Responsibilities

• Lead utilities operations personnel through work coordination, performance management, training, and succession planning
• Develop and execute site reliability roadmap for facilities assets using criticality, failure history, and lifecycle cost analysis
• Drive optimization of preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance programs using vibration, thermography, and related technologies
• Oversee asset condition assessments, obsolescence risk prioritization, and capital planning integration via ALCM governance
• Support financial processes including annual budget forecasting, business case development, and cost monitoring for reliability investments

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline
• Minimum six years' experience in utilities operations, maintenance, reliability, or facilities engineering
• Demonstrated people-leadership experience and knowledge of GMP, validation, and regulated operations
• Proficiency with TPM, ALCM, preventive/predictive maintenance, and root cause analysis
• Full bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
• Working knowledge of MS Windows, Office applications, SAP, and GVLMS
