This is an 18 week contract. Description Join Meta’s cutting-edge GenAI team and help build foundational AI models from the ground up. We’re looking for talented Math subject-matter experts (SMEs) to bring deep domain expertise and elevate the quality of our AI training data. This is a remote, flexible opportunity to collaborate directly with Meta’s AI research teams. What You\'ll Do Guide research teams to close knowledge gaps and improve AI model performance in your legal domain. Create and maintain precise annotation standards tailored to your legal specialty. As a domain SME, you\'ll set the gold standard for quality and rigor. Translate tacit legal expertise into explicit, teachable knowledge for AI systems. Develop guidelines and detailed rubrics / evaluation frameworks to assess legal reasoning across tasks. Design challenging, domain-relevant legal tasks across multiple specializations, and write accurate and well-structured solutions to legal problems. Evaluate legal tasks and solutions and provide clear, written feedback. Collaborate with other subject matter experts to ensure consistency and accuracy in training data. Qualifications Education: A Master\'s or Ph.D. degree in a relevant field related to the domain of expertise in mathematics, or industry-recognized credentials like IMO / Putnam medalists Experience: A minimum of 3 years professional experience in domain. Experience teaching advanced concepts (e.g., TAing advanced courses), demonstrating ability to distill and relay complex problems in logical, step-by-step thinking preferred. Domains expertise in 1 or more of: Foundations, Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, Probability and Statistics, Number Theory, or Topology Communication: Exceptional written and verbal skills to clearly convey complex concepts to a diverse, non-expert audience Collaborative Spirit: Proven success working with cross-functional teams and external partners.
