Step into an exciting opportunity supporting students across multiple educational settings as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant. This school-based contract position offers both part-time and full-time options—up to 37.5 hours per week—working with a caseload of 50-55 students from a range of age groups. You’ll collaborate with teams across several sites, with the potential to combine placements to achieve a full-time schedule.

Your expertise will be valued in on-site environments; remote or virtual arrangements are not available for this role. The assignment starts as soon as possible and continues through late May 2027, providing stable and impactful work well into the school year.

Key Qualifications:

• Current, active Florida Department of Health SLPA license required
• Experience supporting speech-language services within school settings highly desirable
• Willingness to travel between 2-3 school sites per week within the district
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload of up to 55 students
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students and staff

Position Responsibilities:

• Implement speech-language therapy plans under the direction of a supervising SLP
• Work directly with students individually and in small groups, both at elementary and middle school levels
• Monitor student progress and keep organized records
• Support the creation and adaptation of therapy materials
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success

Additional Requirements:

• Completion of fingerprinting per Florida Department of Education regulations (expedited for candidates already cleared via the AHCA Clearinghouse)
• Obtain a JLA badge as mandated for school district personnel
