Staffing Coordinator/Scheduler
Immediate temp to perm opportunity in Commack, NY. Note: Must have prior Staffing/Scheduling Coordinator experience in a healthcare setting (nursing facility, rehabilitation center, hospital or long-term care)
Pay Rate: $30/hr Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm
- Flexible to work weekends as needed
- 40 hours per week
Job Details
- The Staffing Coordinator/Scheduler is responsible for overseeing the scheduling and coordination of nursing staff within the long-term care facility
- This includes managing the staffing levels, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and addressing any scheduling issues that may arise
- The role involves effective communication with various departments to guarantee the appropriate allocation of resources and maintain a qualified and skilled workforce
- Manage staff callouts appropriately by following proper protocol
Qualifications
- Must have prior Staffing/Scheduling Coordinator experience in a healthcare setting (nursing facility, rehabilitation center, or long-term care)
- Proficiency with Smartlinx preferred
- Should have excellent computer skills (MS word, excel, outlook etc.)
- Able to work well independently & as part of a team.
