Manager of Critical Care CVICU RN

Cooperidge Consulting Firm is seeking a Manager of Critical Care (CVICU RN) for a top healthcare client in Dallas, TX . This leadership role oversees daily operations of the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), supporting patient-centered care and high clinical standards. The Manager will co-lead the department alongside another manager, supervising 40 FTEs within a 28-bed CVICU and ECMO team. The ideal candidate will bring advanced leadership experience in critical care, strong communication skills, and a record of operational excellence. Job Responsibilities Direct and coordinate nursing care delivery in the CVICU, ensuring compliance with hospital standards and evidence-based practices. Lead staff development, scheduling, and evaluation to maintain a high-performing and engaged team. Collaborate with physicians, ECMO specialists, and interdisciplinary leaders to optimize patient outcomes. Develop and recommend policies, programs, and initiatives to improve the quality and efficiency of care. Maintain effective communication channels with staff, administration, and medical teams. Participate in strategic planning, budgeting, and department expansion efforts. Promote professional growth, mentorship, and continuous quality improvement.
