Position Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical, technical, and systems-minded Product Manager to join our core centralized Product division in a full-time, 100% remote capacity anywhere in the world. In this high-leverage and high-autonomy product seat, you will step up to claim true individual operational and strategic accountability for shaping a core slice of Laravel Cloud, directing its evolution from early discovery stages through to live developer deployment. Shifting completely away from rigid 50-page corporate process documents, heavy layers of administrative approval, or basic visual template alignment, you will operate as a principal infrastructure architect—partnering face-to-face with developers who possess strong, informed technical opinions and zero tolerance for inauthenticity. This position requires a software industry veteran with 4+ years of product management depth who structures complex cloud primitives fluidly natively using Project Management agile loops, monitors feature adoption metrics smoothly natively using Research data-analysis parameters, and commands exceptional taste regarding deploy ergonomics, billing transparency, and server visibility.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Cloud Product Ownership: Own and lead a dedicated area of the Laravel Cloud ecosystem from initial abstract conception through to live global launch—driving thorough developer discovery, strict roadmap prioritization, and rapid feature shipping cleanly natively utilizing Project Management guidelines.
• Technical Engineering Scoping Partnership: Partner in lockstep with our elite backend and infrastructure engineers, collaborating closely to map system boundaries, determine feature appetite sizes, and define the critical “why, who, and when” while the development cell owns the tactical execution.
• Direct Developer Sourcing and Interviews: Maintain absolute closeness to our user base, regularly interacting with developers across enterprise calls, community signal channels, and direct user interviews to let real-world observations guide your prioritization matrix.
• Data-Driven Feature Adoption Auditing: Establish and track clear post-launch telemetry indicators, analyzing feature adoption trends and performance logs natively leveraging Research analytics parameters to ensure features deliver real developer value.
• Cross-Functional Launch Syncing: Serve as the core connective tissue across the platform, briefing Sales and Marketing units ahead of launches to ensure feature deployments feel holistically coherent and perfectly positioned.
• Platform Landscape Analysis: Maintain an authoritative technical understanding of the developer tools landscape, tracking the deployment capabilities, observability patterns, and billing transparency models of alternatives like Heroku, Vercel, Railway, Render, and Fly.io.
• High-Craft Design and Engineering Governance: Defend a relentless bar for product quality and visual taste, holding design and engineering execution to the high aesthetic standards synonymous with the Laravel brand name.
• Asynchronous Project Administration: Juggle and progress multiple cloud features simultaneously, utilizing explicit asynchronous written channels to align distributed technical stakeholders without relying on constant meeting overheads.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• A minimum of 4 years of verified professional history running advanced software product management, technical product delivery direction, developer tools engineering, or cloud platform data advisory.
• A minimum of 2 years of documented experience explicitly taking highly technical developer or server software products from early conception through execution (proven 0-to-1 lifecycle delivery).
• Mandatory Technology Domain Sourcing: Proven, hands-on history developing, managing, or launching core infrastructure products or technologies—specifically involving compute layers, database engines, storage frameworks, networking paths, file systems, or related backend architectures.
• Deep, authoritative technical command of cloud platform mechanics, system-level automation patterns, developer ergonomics, and microservice billing models.
• Expert-tier capability drafting engineering specifications, breaking down developer roadmaps, and managing fast scrum iterations natively utilizing Project Management principles.
• Practical operational familiarity parsing system telemetry tools, evaluating user feedback metrics, and running competitive landscape mappings natively using Research parameters.
• Possession of an outstanding written and verbal communication style in fluent English, enabling total credibility and persuasive consultative influence when debating technical calls before engineering audiences.
• Early-Stage Ambiguity Adaptability: Proven capacity to thrive inside an early-stage setup, demonstrating a self-managing work ethic and an eagerness to experiment, iterate, and build the plane while flying it.
• Education context: Possession of a formal university Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical career field experience.
