Position SummaryUnder general direction from the Clubhouse Manager, safely utilizes a variety of tools, machinery and equipment to perform maintenance duties around the Clubhouse and grounds. Responsibilities also include cleaning equipment after each use and performing minor repairs and/or routine maintenance on the equipment. Preferred Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systemsConduct daily facility inspections and promptly address issues Complete work orders and preventative maintenance tasksMaintain club equipment, tools and inventoryAssist with event setup, furniture movement, and minor carpentry or paint projectsTroubleshoot maintenance problems and reccomend solutionsPartner with vendors, contractors, and staff as neededEnsure all safety policies, codes, and procedures are followedSupport emergency response - Power outages, leaks, storms, etc.Perform other duties as assigned by managerEducation/Qualifications/Certifications High school, college degree, required or preferred2+ year experience in facility maintenance, building operations, or a skilled tradeValid driver's license. Ability to lift 50lbs and work on ladders or in confined spacesAbility to read work orders, basic schematics/as-builts and manuals. Experience with hand and power tools.Ability to analyze and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision; work flexible hours as required including nights/weekends.Positive attitude, professional manner and appearance in all situations.Position Physical RequirementsMust have the ability to:Read and write (English)Communicate verbally with staff members and/or customers with or without the use of two-way radios.Give and/or follow verbal and written instructionsPerform mathematical calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentagesRetrieve, read and interpret information from technical sourcesStand, sit, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, bend and kneel for up to 5 hours at a timeLift up to 100 lbs occasionally, 50 lbs frequently, and 20 lbs constantly SupervisesNoneWorking ConditionsWork hours may include days and evenings on weekdays and weekends. Subject to inside and outside environmental conditions. May be exposed to inclement weather, misdirected golf balls, sharp and rapid equipment movement on a daily basis. Injury may result as a result of exposure to the above if safety policies and practices are not properly followed.
