Armed Security Officer Positions After 30 days of employment, you will receive a $1,000 sign‑on bonus. Unarmed Security Officer Positions Looking to become armed?? Securitas is offering an ARMED class at the end of each month. You must be able to attend an unpaid 4-day training and be ready to work immediately after. Event Officers You will cover all the events for the City of Newport and City of Hampton. You must have open availability. Requirements: * You MUST have 1 year of security experience, law enforcement or military experience, no exceptions.

• You must have a valid driver’s license.
• You must be open to working weekends, events coverage and mandatory

overtime(as needed). * You must have reliable transportation. All Security Positions are Full Time All SHIFTS AVAILABLE (weekends and event coverage is a MUST). Must have excellent Customer Service skills Security positions require you pass our drug screen and background check Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard Job Requirements of the Security Officer include but are not limited to: Security Officers/Security Guards observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain. Additional physical requirements of the security officer/guard may include, frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
