Sentara Health is hiring for a Residency Program Coordinator I for SNVMC in Woodbridge, VA! Status: Full-Time, permanent position (40 hours) Standard working hours: 8am to 5pm EST, M-F. Location: Will report daily at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA. Job Responsibilities The Resident Program Coordinator I is responsible for the general administrative oversight and management of a specific GME training program sponsored by either the Sentara GME office or an affiliated-academic partner’s GME office. The GME Program Coordinator I will report to the Sentara Administrative Director of Graduate Medical Education. The Program Coordinator will work alongside the Program Director to ensure the program complies with ACGME requirements and policies of the sponsoring institution. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for day-to-day activities in the academic program, including organization and support of academic/educational conferences, oversight of the educational schedule, communication and upkeep of the clinical schedule, and coordination with prospective applicants and alumni. Education Associate's Level Degree (ALD) REQUIRED Certification / Licensure TAGME – Training Administrators of Graduate Medical Education preferred upon hire. If certification is not possessed upon hire, it must be obtained within 3 years of the hire date. Experience Administration – 3 years REQUIRED Relevant experience REQUIRED Administration or Coordinator experience in an academic, business, or healthcare setting preferred Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
