We are looking for a dependable Customer Service Representative to join our Farmers Insurance agency in Bellingham. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, helping them navigate their policies, answer questions, and stay on top of their coverage needs. This is a full time, in office position, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. Prior customer service experience is preferred. If you have a friendly, professional demeanor and enjoy helping people, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and respond to client questions about their policies, billing, and coverage
• Process policy changes, endorsements, and payments accurately and promptly
• Assist clients with claims related questions and direct them to the right resources
• Maintain accurate client records in the agency management system
• Follow up with clients on outstanding documents, renewals, or requests
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through friendly, professional communication
• Support the team with administrative tasks as needed

Requirements

• Prior customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Comfortable on the phone and multitasking in a fast paced office
• Detail oriented, organized, and able to stay calm under pressure
• Basic computer/software proficiency
• Property & Casualty Insurance License required before starting employment
