The opportunity: Up to $10,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates. Seeking emergency department/urgent care center physician assistants and nurse practitioners. ED/UCC experience preferred. New grads with strong emergency or paramedic/EMT experience will be considered. Current national certification, DEA, ACLS, and BLS are preferred. Current CA state license is a plus.

The practice: San Joaquin General Hospital - French Camp, California. A 196-bed general acute care facility providing a full range of inpatient services including general medical/surgical care, high-risk obstetrics and neonatal intensive care, pediatrics, and intensive care level II trauma center with an annual volume of 55,000+ and a daily patient volume ranging from 150-180. The only trauma center in the county, with an acuity level of 15-25% and an admit rate of 14%. Cerner EMR system APP's have access to scribes and dragon dictation to aid with documentation.
