Located in the heart of Hillsborough, UNC Family Medicine at Hillsborough is a full service family practice, treating both children and adults. Our care team provides compassionate and personalized care.

• EKG and pulmonary-function testing
• Concussion management
• Diabetes education
• Healthy lifestyle education
• HIV PrEP
• Immunizations
• Joint and soft-tissue injections
• Management of acute and chronic diseases such as hypertension and diabetes
• Medication Therapy for Opioid Use Disorder
• Nutrition counseling
• Physicals
• Preventative care
• Screening tests
• Sports medicine including nonsurgical orthopedic procedures
• Well-child visits
• Women’s health

Practice Hours : Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

Qualifications :

• Medical School Graduate (MD/DO)
• Board certified family medicine required
• NC State License preferred
• FCVS profile preferred for those without NC license but not required

Other Information :

Education Requirements: Graduation from an accredited school of medicine. Active member of the Rex Hospital Medical Staff, including meeting the Board Certification requirements.

Licensure/Certification Requirements: North Carolina Medical License, DEA License, BLS/ACLS certification preferred. Board certified in Internal Medicine.

Professional Experience Requirements: Prefer prior hospitalist experience.

Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements: Language Skills: Should be able to communicate proficiently in English.

REASONING ABILITY: High-level quantitative and qualitative reason skills are essential in order to diagnose medical and clinical issues presented by patients.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: North Carolina Medical License, DEA License, BLS/ACLS certification preferred. Board certified in Internal Medicine.
