Be a part of something bigger than "just a job" and apply today!This position is responsible for execution of the day-to-day HR functions of recruiting/hiring, new hire orientation, benefits administration, workers' compensation, HRIS entry, and maintaining electronic team member files.Essential duties and responsibilities:Assists with the development, communication, and enforcement of LifeServe's policies and team member handbookAccurately maintains employee records, files, and the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) in a timely manner.Oversees benefit administration for all team members.Administers workers' compensation claims, meeting expectations for accuracy and timeliness.Manages the recruitment process including background checks and drug testing.Communicates with leaders to understand hiring needs and keeps leadership informed of recruiting efforts and progress.Develops, maintains, and facilitates new team member orientation.Offers coaching, feedback, and direction to team members to strengthen performance, reinforce standards, and maintain effective working relationships.Maintains confidentiality of LifeServe Blood Center donors, team members, financial/proprietary records, and other information at all times.Maintains acceptable attendance.Education and/or experience:Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field is preferred.A minimum of an associate's degree is required.Two years of experience in human resources or in a supervisory position is preferred.Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, etc.) and a willingness to engage in learning other software.Certificates, licenses, registrations:PHR or SHRM-CP preferred.Current driver's license and motor vehicle report meeting insurability requirements preferred.Physical demands:Use of hands/wrists to include fine, simple, and gross motor skillsForearm rotationsLift/carry up to 25 lbs.This position is primarily office-based with long periods at a computerAbility to sit or stand for long periods of timeOccasionally requires overnight travel, evening, and weekend workOur benefits are just your type!When you're part of a team that saves lives every day, you deserve benefits that have your back.Part-time team members enjoy:Vision coverage403(b) retirement plan with up to 4% matching contribution after a year (and at least 1,000 service hours)Supplemental accident, critical illness, and hospital indemnity plansFlexible spending accounts for health, limited-purpose, and dependent careFull-time team members receive all of that plus :Two medical plan optionsHSA with employer contributionDental coverageLife and AD&D insuranceSupplemental self, spouse, and/or dependent life insuranceLifeServe is proud to support the people who make life-saving moments possible: YOU!Offers of employment are contingent on the successful completion of pre-employment, post-offer drug testing and background checks.LifeServe Blood Center is fully committed to equal employment opportunity.
