We're seeking a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon for a locum opportunity in Mason City, Iowa, providing a combination of clinic coverage, orthopedic trauma call, inpatient consults, and surgical services.

Coverage Dates

June 23 (7:00 AM) June 26 (7:00 AM) July 3 (7:00 AM) July 15 (7:00 AM) Ongoing coverage available thereafter

Schedule

Monday Friday Clinic? Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM 24-Hour Orthopedic Call Coverage Follow-up clinic visits for patients seen during call coverage

Practice Environment

Level III Trauma Center? 4 Orthopedic Surgeons? 7 Advanced Practice Providers APP supervision required Inpatient rounding, ED consults, and OR responsibilities Epic EMR Service area covering 16 surrounding counties with a population of 200,000+

Support Team

1 dedicated nurse per provider 3 cast technicians supporting the practice Surgery schedulers and administrative support staff Medical imaging, laboratory, and pharmacy services onsite

Orthopedic clinic coverage Surgical procedures Orthopedic trauma call Inpatient consults Emergency Department consults Post-operative patient rounding Fracture management and follow-up care
