Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security‑related incidents through a visible presence. This role combines customer service, communication, and mobile patrol duties while supporting access awareness and responding with agility, reliability, teamwork, and integrity. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Wed: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Thur: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sun: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting concerns through appropriate channels. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points, observe visitor and vendor activity, and support property rules by reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations. Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, communicating with property personnel, and assisting with routine security‑related tasks as directed for the location. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
