What You'll Do

• Provide respiratory support to high-risk neonates, infants, and critically ill patients across multiple hospital campuses
• Manage airway and ventilator support, including intubation and non-invasive ventilation procedures
• Administer inhaled medications, including nitric oxide, as part of complex patient care
• Respond to emergency situations such as Code Blue and rapid response calls
• Support NICU, PICU, ICU, step-down, medical telemetry, and high-risk delivery units
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Float between four diverse hospital campuses within the region
• Document care interventions accurately in the Meditech Expanse system

What You Need

Required:

• Louisiana State Respiratory Care Practitioner License
• BLS and NRP certifications (ACLS and PALS preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in similar critical care environments
• Valid driver's license
• Competency in airway, ventilator management, ABG analysis, and neonatal intubation

Preferred:

• CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist) or RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credentials
• Experience with advanced respiratory equipment including Servo U, Trilogy, Vapotherm, NICU oscillators, and ventilators
