Under the direction of the Supervisor I, the Analyst II acts as a Personnel Liaison for Facility Planning, Construction and Management (FPCM) Division to CDCR Human Resources and assists managers with hiring and recruiting staff. liaison on personnel matters and staff development; The Analyst II communicates human resources related information with all levels of management and staff efficiently and effectively on applicable HR laws, policies, procedures, and standards. Analyst II also mmonitors and consults with management on all assigned Branch personnel and transaction needss for assigned Branches; Assists with the developing and formulation of Branch policy/procedures as they relate to these functions.
The California Department of Corrections Rehabilitation (CDCR) Headquarters has implemented a new automated system to streamline the hiring process. The Human Resources Technology System (HRTS) is an intuitive, user-friendly system that provides the applicant access to real-time updates throughout the hiring process.

Facility Planning, Construction, and Management, a headquarters location, offers a secured access facility with an on-site fitness center, free parking, as well as a variety of nearby shopping locations. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment.

Candidates new to CDCR/CCHCS are required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan Fingerprinting, as well as a Tuberculosis test/evaluation prior to appointment, followed by department annual Tuberculosis testing/evaluation thereafter.
