Boater’s World Marine Centers is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Yard Attendant / Boat Detailer to join our team in Islamorada, FL. We are prioritizing local candidates or those currently located in the Florida Keys area who are available to start immediately.

This is a hands-on role that supports daily dealership operations by maintaining the yard, moving boats, and ensuring every vessel is clean, polished, and ready for customers.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Drive company vehicles to move boats, trailers, and marine equipment on-site and occasionally off-site
• Safely launch, load, move, and store boats of various sizes
• Assist with positioning inventory throughout the yard and showroom

• Clean and detail boat interiors and exteriors to showroom standards
• Wash, wax, vacuum, and polish surfaces
• Remove water spots, oxidation, and stains using marine-safe products
• Prepare boats for customer pickup, delivery, and display
• Report any cosmetic damage or issues to the Service Manager

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard environment
• Perform general upkeep including sweeping, debris removal, and lot organization
• Assist with maintaining proper layout and storage of boats and trailers

• Provide friendly, professional assistance during customer pickups and drop-offs
• Help load and unload boats, trailers, and equipment as needed
• Answer basic questions and direct customers to the appropriate team members

• Assist with tracking boats and equipment within the yard
• Safely operate forklifts, trailers, pressure washers, and other yard equipment
• Support service technicians by moving boats for repairs and service work

• Must be local to the Islamorada / Florida Keys area or able to start immediately
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Previous experience trailering or handling boats preferred
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving equipment
• Basic mechanical aptitude is a plus
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed
