NATO SEASPARROW NSSMS Technician (5242)

NATO SEASPARROW TECHNICIAN

Ghostrock, LLC, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC and a recognized leader in Federal Government contracting, is seeking a NATO SEASPARROW Technician to join our team in San Diego, CA. This role supports U.S. Navy Ships under the direction of Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) and serves as the technical Subject Matter Expert (SME).

Position Responsibilities:

• Direct, oversee repair activities, train, troubleshoot, diagnose, and maintain the following:
• MK57 NATO SEASPARROW Surface Missile System (NSSMS)
• Associated LINUX based software and networks
• Provide technical support for procurement, installation, at-sea testing, preventive/corrective maintenance, and lifecycle management of systems.
• Interpret technical manuals, apply repair standards, and maintain accurate technical documentation.

Position Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Must be able to obtain an Active Security Clearance.
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Required NEC (Navy Enlisted Qualifications) in V31A or ISEA
• 8+ years of related experience with shipboard systems and associated systems.
• Strong technical comprehension with the ability to read and interpret manuals and standards.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Proficient with hand tools and multi-meters.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related technical applications.
• Knowledge of 3M
• Fiber Optics Technician Certificate

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent standing, walking, sitting, reaching, and handling tools/equipment.
• Regular verbal and auditory communication.
• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to board naval crafts, navigating passageways and steep ladders.
• Comfortable working in shipboard and industrial environments.

This position is located in San Diego, CA.

The hourly wage for this position is $39.78 - $48.13 BOE.
