Northrop Grumman is seeking Materials Processing students for an internship opportunity.

This position will be located at our Defense Systems Sector in Roy, UT. The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Strategic Deterrent Systems Division (SDSD). Basic Qualifications A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must: Be a student who is enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university and will be enrolled full time in Fall 2027. Be majoring in or having majored in Materials Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during

summer 2027. Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)

Preferred Qualifications: Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.70/4.0 or higher Current active Secret Security Clearance or higher Intern Pay Range for Roy, UT: Bachelor’s: $23.00 to $29.00 per hour Master’s: $32.75- $35.50 per hour At Northrop Grumman, our internship pay rates are standardized and take into account three main factors: the anticipated graduation date of the individual, the cost of labor of the geographic location, and whether the internship is considered technical or administrative. campusjobs Primary Level Salary Range: $1.00 - $1.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
