Senior Accountant

Robert Half's client is seeking a driven Senior Accountant to join their corporate accounting team in West Palm Beach, FL . Reporting directly to accounting leadership, this role offers strong visibility, meaningful responsibility, and clear growth potential.

The Senior Accountant will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial reporting, supporting month-end close activities, reviewing accounting workflows, and contributing to audit and budgeting initiatives. This role requires strong analytical ability, sound judgment, and the flexibility to manage multiple priorities

Responsibilities includ e:

Financial Reporting & Close Process

• Execute month-end close procedures across G/L, A/P, and A/R
• Assist with consolidated monthly financial reporting

Account Reconciliation & Oversight

• Review bank reconciliations for general operating accounts
• Reconcile intercompany account activity and transfers

Compliance, Audit & Controls

• Review weekly, monthly, and quarterly state and local tax filings
• Assist with audit requests and external deliverables

Planning & Operational Support

• Identify process improvements and support operational efficiencies
• Adapt to evolving priorities, including acquisition-related accounting projects

Qualificati ons

• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, payroll processing and financial statement preparation
• Experience with account reconciliations, accruals, and month-end close
• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains ) and Microsoft Office Suite
