Operations ManagerThe primary focus of the Operations Manager is to oversee business operations by providing effective methods of day-to-day operations, maintain and develop client relationships, estimate work, and recruit/develop personnel for ongoing and future projects.Founded in 1920, the E.S. Boulos Company (ESB) – a subsidiary of MYR Group Inc. – performs electrical construction services throughout the Northeastern U.S. We have two divisions, offering both powerline construction and commercial/industrial electrical construction, making us a full-service electrical provider.ESB's commercial and industrial electrical construction division specializes in large-scale commercial electrical projects, telecommunications, traffic signalization, gas distribution, high voltage distribution service and maintenance. We also offer design-build and pre-construction services and has in-house pre-fabrication and AutoCAD capabilities.Essential Functions:Ensure organizational safety expectations are met by all employeesMonitor the financial performance and production of projectsEnsure contractual compliance for current and future projectsDevelop, strengthen, and maintain long lasting client relationshipsPursue business growth opportunitiesAdvise staff of company policy expectationsLead, direct, and audit the work of assigned staff; act as a mentorCoordinate employee performance reviewsFacilitate and enforce company policies and proceduresRegular and predictable attendanceOther duties as assignedQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience (10+ years' in a leadership role within the construction or utilities industry)Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:Strong commitment to safety and the ability to develop a solid safety culture with subordinatesExcellent salesmanship and communication skills to include written and verbalStrong leadership and team building skillsCompensation & Benefits:Salary $125,000-$145,000 / year commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith.
