Itron is seeking a Strategy & Bus Ops Analyst to join the Resiliency Solutions team. This role partners closely with account teams on strategic opportunities, helping customers clearly understand and quantify the business value of technology solutions in the Utilities & Energy sector. The Strategy & Bus Ops Analyst is accountable for developing compelling business cases, ROI models, and value narratives that accelerate deal cycles, increase win rates, and strengthen longterm customer outcomes. This role also contributes to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance revenue performance, sales effectiveness, and valuebased selling practices across the organization.Duties and Responsibilities

• Partner collaboratively with Account Executives and Solution Consultants to shape deal strategy, align on customer priorities, and deliver a consistent, customercentric, valueled approach throughout the sales cycle.
• Engage authentically with customers to uncover business challenges, define success metrics, and cocreate value hypotheses aligned to operational, financial, and strategic priorities within Utilities & Energy organizations.
• Lead the development of business cases, ROI models, and financial analyses that clearly articulate economic impact, support investment decisions, and enable deal acceleration and expansion.
• Present value narratives to customer executives (e.g., CEOs, GMs, CxOs, SVPs) with confidence, accountability, and analytical rigor, addressing questions and objections with clarity and professionalism.
• Embed valuebased selling methodologies into active opportunities, ensuring economic impact and outcomes are consistently communicated across all customer interactions.
• Collaborate crossfunctionally with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to develop innovative, scalable value frameworks, tools, benchmarks, and collateral that enhance presales effectiveness and customer engagement.
• Analyze sales performance and processes to identify bottlenecks and opportunities, contributing insights and recommendations that improve revenue outcomes and customer experience.
• Support continuous improvement of value engineering standards by sharing best practices, refining templates, and contributing to an agile, learningoriented sales culture.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience in value consulting, management consulting, or a comparable analytical, customerfacing role with a strong emphasis on business case development and ROI analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex financial and operational analyses into clear, compelling business narratives that support informed decisionmaking.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with high attention to detail and accountability for accuracy.
• Executive presence with the ability to confidently communicate insights and defend assumptions with senior stakeholders.
• Resultsoriented mindset with a focus on impact, execution, and customer outcomes.
• Selfstarter who can independently lead initiatives while collaborating effectively across teams, functions, and time zones.
• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 30%.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience working in or supporting the Utilities & Energy sector, particularly within a technology or SaaS environment.
• Experience partnering closely with sales teams in a quotadriven environment and supporting complex, consultative sales cycles.
• Familiarity with valuebased selling methodologies and tools.
• Strong process orientation with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in diverse, crossfunctional teams while maintaining agility in a fastpaced environment.
