Pay: $23/hr | Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

BG Staffing is seeking a skilled and dependable Experienced Maintenance Technician to support an apartment community in New Bedford, MA 02740 . This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise who takes pride in delivering high‑quality maintenance work and excellent service to residents.
Position Details- Role: Experienced Maintenance Technician
- Location: New Bedford, MA
- Pay: $23/hr.
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8AM-4PM
- Start Date: ASAP
- Opportunity Type: Contract
- Complete work orders efficiently and professionally
- Perform skilled maintenance tasks, including:
- HVAC troubleshooting and repair
- Electrical repairs
- Plumbing repairs
- Appliance diagnostics and repair
- Carpentry and general maintenance
- Assist with unit turns and make‑ready preparation
- Maintain community grounds, common areas, and amenities
- Respond to resident requests with a friendly, professional attitude
- Ensure all work meets safety, compliance, and quality standards
- Previous apartment maintenance experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of general and advanced maintenance functions
- Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently
- Reliable, punctual, and detail‑oriented
- Strong communication and customer service skills
