Work Environment

The role is based onsite at our rehabilitation facility in Stafford, Virginia, which is designed to provide a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for clients seeking therapy services. Our schedule is structured from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, allowing for a balanced work-life experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients with functional limitations and disabilities, developing tailored treatment plans that align with their individual goals.
• Implement effective treatment protocols based on evaluation findings, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet patients' evolving needs.
• Document patient progress meticulously, including initial evaluations, treatment plans, daily encounter notes, interim summaries, and discharge evaluations.
• Consult and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care, identifying when modifications to treatment plans are required.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations while completing necessary training across corporate and clinical services.
• Participate in healthcare conferences and meetings, contributing to discussions that aim to enhance patient access and care quality.
• Complete daily treatment assignments, prioritizing patient quality care and departmental productivity.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist role focuses on a diverse patient population requiring rehabilitation services to improve mobility, strength, and overall functionality. Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in physical therapy.
