Position Overview

Flex Fitness Physical Therapy is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Physical Therapists to join our team at our on-site Rehabilitation Center in Stafford, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations to identify patient needs, including subjective and objective assessments based on medical histories and physician referrals.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that prioritize patient-centered goals, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet evolving patient needs.
• Utilize advanced physical therapy modalities and techniques to treat various patient demographics, ensuring effective rehabilitation outcomes for conditions ranging from acute injuries to post-operative recovery.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation for each patient's progress and treatment, abiding by regulatory and departmental compliance standards.
• Oversee the performance and quality of care delivered by physical therapy assistants, aides, and students, promoting best practices within the department.
• Actively engage in continuous learning and professional development, seeking opportunities to enhance skills through workshops, seminars, or advanced certifications.
• Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives, focusing on enhancing patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes.
• Communicate regularly with patients, families, and other healthcare personnel to provide updates on treatment plans, patient goals, and progress.
• Assist in operational tasks, such as scheduling, mentoring staff, and managing supplies and equipment related to therapy services.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A current physical therapist license in the state of Virginia.

• Proficiency in communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey information to patients and collaborate with team members.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience as a licensed physical therapist.
• Experience in specialized areas such as orthopedic rehabilitation, geriatric therapy, or neurological conditions is advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to utilize therapeutic exercise, manual therapy techniques, and modalities effectively.

Compensation and Benefits
