Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, where therapists will travel to various patient locations within Stafford, VA. You will engage directly with patients in their homes, providing a comfortable and personalized setting for rehabilitation. Flexibility is essential, as hours may vary, requiring some weekend availability to meet the needs of our patient population.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive examinations and evaluations to assess functional limitations and disabilities in patients.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments, goals, and objectives, while ensuring continuity of care.
• Implement and adjust therapeutic interventions as needed, providing reassessment and education to patients and their families regarding progress and home exercises.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatments provided, and discharge plans, ensuring adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to optimize patient outcomes and enhance care coordination.
• Engage in leadership functions that include community outreach, quality improvement initiatives, and participation in marketing strategies to promote services.
• Supervise and mentor support staff, providing guidance on patient treatment and documentation.
• Participate in continuous professional development through in-services and further education opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid state license in Physical Therapy.

Compensation and Benefits
