Work Environment

As a Full-Time Physical Therapist at our rehabilitation facility, you will work onsite in Stafford, Virginia, where you will have access to the latest in physical therapy technology and resources. Your work schedule will be Monday through Friday, comprising a 40-hour workweek. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations based on referrals from physicians, assessing their physical abilities and establishing realistic treatment goals.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans focused on the specific needs and health conditions of each patient, ensuring alignment with physician recommendations.
• Utilize a range of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine approaches, to facilitate patient recovery.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting progress and modifying treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Engage with patients and their families effectively, providing education and motivational support to enhance their understanding of the rehabilitation process.
• Collaborate with a broad health care team to integrate interdisciplinary treatment strategies that promote comprehensive patient care.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to foster a welcoming and supportive patient experience.
• Meet established productivity metrics and contribute to overall clinic performance goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographics encompass orthopedic cases, pediatric patients, and neurologically challenged individuals. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure in Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and proficiency in computer skills for documentation and treatment planning.

Preferred Experience

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from a CAPTE-accredited program is preferred.
• Two years of direct clinical experience in a physical therapy setting.

• Current CPR Certification.

Compensation and Benefits
