Work Environment

The position is based onsite at our rehabilitation center in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians to identify their needs and establish personalized treatment plans.
• Implement and oversee treatment regimens tailored to the specific requirements of each patient, ensuring alignment with medical directives.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities and techniques to facilitate positive outcomes, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modalities specific to orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine specialties.
• Foster open communication with patients and their families, providing education on treatment processes and empowering them to engage actively in their recovery.
• Document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with best practices and quality standards while striving to meet utilization goals and business objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse patient population, ranging from children with developmental disabilities to adults recovering from surgical procedures, sports injuries, or neurological conditions. This variety ensures that you can apply your skills and knowledge across numerous areas of physical therapy, ultimately contributing to improved patient recovery and rehabilitation experiences.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an APTA or CAPTE-approved program.
• A valid Physical Therapy license in the State of Virginia.
• Certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and clinical documentation processes.
• A commitment to establishing positive relationships with patients and their families, contributing to their successful rehabilitation journey.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with a minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience are preferred. Experience treating multiple specialties, including orthopedic, pediatric, and neurologic patients, will be considered an advantage as we aim to provide a well-rounded care approach.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual compensation for this role ranges from $100,000 to $120,000, complemented by a robust benefits package designed to support your overall well-being.
