Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients referred by their physicians, establishing individualized treatment plans that address specific needs and goals.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols tailored to various patient demographics and conditions, focusing on orthopedic, neurological, pediatric, and sports medicine cases.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic methods and technologies to facilitate recovery, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and patient education.
• Provide ongoing consultations to patients and their caregivers, equipping them with knowledge about their conditions and strategies for home-based care and continued recovery.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on evidence and patient feedback, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Meet established utilization goals to contribute to the clinic's operational success, fostering a team-oriented approach to achieving business and patient care objectives.
• Participate actively in team meetings and collaborative care efforts to enhance the overall effectiveness of treatment plans and patient satisfaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will primarily work with a diverse range of patients suffering from musculoskeletal issues, including post-operative recovery from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will also have opportunities to engage with patients across various age groups, providing care that addresses their unique recovery needs, from pediatric to geriatric populations. Qualifications

• Graduation from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (higher education preferred).
• Current state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.

Compensation and Benefits
